Laundry Cottage
II
House. Dated and inscribed over former entrance T & IN. 1675 with early C20
extension and alterations. Mixed slate and sandstone rubble; Welsh slate roof
with bottom courses of sandstone slates; cement rendered rebuilt chimney stacks.
2 storeys, 2 bays with left single-storey, single-bay extension. Centre doorway,
now partly blocked to form sash window in stone architrave, under dated lintel.
Sash windows in original chamfered surrounds, those to right showing traces of
removed stone mullions. Extension has C20 door and sash window in stone surrounds.
Rear outshut has small blocked C17 window, the lintel inscribed TN. Adjoining
farm buildings are not of interest.
