24/18 Ravens' Seat farmhouse with adjoining barn range and cart shed

House dated 1730, with inscription Thomas and Jane Hall, on front door lintel; later alterations. Barn range adjoining to right and cart shed adjoining to left are later additions. House and part of barn stone blocks; barn extension and cart-shed coursed, squared rubble, with 3 rows of projecting through-stones to latter. Graduated slate roofs; stone coping and kneelers to north gable of house. 2-storey, 3-bay house has wing to rear. Symmetrical front has central, gabled porch with plank side door; 3-light window to either side and two 2-light windows above with blocked window between. All windows are casements with segmental inner heads and glazing bars; ruled stone surrounds and mullions. Corbelled stone chimney to north end. 2-storey barn range is 4 bays overall with plank door in chamfered surround to left, 2 casements and loop lights to right; stone chimney (to house) incorporated in north end. Single storey, 2-bay cart shed has wagon entrance to rear.
