LOSTWITHIEL CHURCH LANE, Lostwithiel SX 15 NW 10/74 Elliot and Partridge monuments - against the south wall of the churchyard about 20 metres south of south aisle of Church of St Bartholomew GV II
Pair of headstones. C18 and early C19. Slate. Headstone to Thomas Elliott of 1746, has incised stepped nowy head to inscription panel with skull and crossed bones in each spandrel. Headstone to Elizabeth Partridge, 1823, by Corney of Bodmin, has carved pilasters and frieze with cherub's head and wings at top, and motto: "Time how short, Eternity how long", ornamented top corners.
