NEWQUAY TREGURRIAN SW 86 NE 1/142 Ivy Cottage - II
House. Cl8, with C19 alterations and few later alterations. Slatestone rubble, roughcast at the sides. Slurried slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks with rendered shafts. Plan: 2-room plan, a larger room to left and smaller room to right, each heated from a gable end stack. Entrance to passage between the rooms. Integral outshut, unheated, behind the whole range. Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical 3-window front. First floor has 3 C19 4-pane sashes. Ground floor to left two 4-pane sashes and one plate-glass sash. Gabled open-fronted porch with C20 half-glazed door. 4-pane sash to right. Right end has 4-pane sash at ground and first floor to left. Single storey C20 garage attached to right. Left end has 4-pane sash at first floor to right. Rear has C20 door with 4- pane sashes and plate-glass sash. Interior: Not inspected.
