Details
SENNEN SENNEN COVE SW 32 NE 4/353 Lewcott - GV II Cottage. Circa late C17 or early C18. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Wheat reed thatched roof with granite chimneys over the cross party wall (shared with the Old Cottage) and brick chimney over the left-hand gable end. Plan: Originally 2-rooms with chambers mostly in roof space over. Extended in the C19 with back kitchen or scullery behind the right-hand side. Exterior: 2 storeys. Approximately symmetrical 2 window south front with first floor windows closer together and set under thatch eyebrows. Doorway central to fenestration. C20 door. Right, otherwise 4-pane sashes (those on the left are C20 horned copies). Interior not inspected.
