EGLOSHAYLE SX 07 SW 4/11 Ivy Cottage and outbuilding attached on right

II

House and outbuilding attached on right. Circa 1821. Slate stone rubble. Slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks. Plan: Double depth plan with central entrance. Two larger reception rooms on front heated by end stacks, back kitchen to rear right heated by end stack and dairy to rear left. Outbuilding of circa mid C19 attached on right hand gable end. Exterior: 2-storeys. Regular 3-window front with brick flat arches to openings. Two early C19 16-pane hornless sashes flank a C20 panelled door. Above two C20 4-pane sashes and early C19 16-pane sash to right. C19 sashes and casements to rear. Outbuilding of 1-storey and loft attached on right hand gable end. Two plank doors on ground floor with interesting designed wrought iron hinges and plank door to loft in gable end. Interior: Partitions insitu. Plaster ceilings with exposed C19 floor joists in back kitchen.
