Offices, former house, early C19 with possible earlier remnants. Timber framed
and plastered with painted brick front and of 2 storeys with attics. 2 ranges
with square plan front block with 'U' shaped hipped peg tile roof and rear range
with separate, hipped roofed in peg tiles. Front is of 5 bays with projecting
centre bay and with architecturally similar extension to N. Pilaster-like
strips at edges of facade and heavy C20 replica stone cornice. Central Tuscan
portico with flat entablature and flight of stone steps with contemporary boot
scrapers. Windows are double hung sashes with margin glazing bars in stucco,
moulded architraves. C19 hardwood entrance door with linen-fold panels. N
extension is similar but with a double hung sash on each floor with deep reveals
and segmental, arched heads. The rear range is in white render with double hung
sashes with small panes in irregular pattern and canted, double hung sash, bay
window. Single storey gabled peg tile roofed stable block attached to rear with
red brick and flint slate roofed extension on end. 3 large gault brick stacks
with decorative square pots and a number of minor stacks. Interior reveals
somelate C18 doors and 2 fire-surrounds with Gothick overmantels.
