GV II
Cottage, originally a small farmhouse. Circa mid to late C17. Granite rubble with large moorstone quoins. Slate roof with gable ends. Granite rubble internal stack on right hand gable end with dripcourse, later brick shaft and cloam oven projection. Plan: 2 room and possibly cross passage plan with larger room on right heated by end stack and probably unheated room on left. Remains of circa C18 outshot to rear towards lower right hand end with large granite troughs still insitu. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front with front window frames renewed in the late C20. The ground floor window openings have been enlarged. Stone rubble porch with large unmoulded granite jambs and rag slate roof with gable end. Renewed plank door. Two-light granite mullion window in right hand gable end. Interior: not accessible.
