GV II
Small house. C18. Painted granite rubble walls with dressed granite quoins, jambstones, sills and lintels. Steep corrugated asbestos roof (formerly thatched) with brick chimneys over the gable ends. Plan : 2 rooms wide with cross passage between plus probably C19 lean-to at right hand end and C20 addition in front of this. The original part has wider room left probably the original kitchen/living room and small parlour right probably with shallow service room behind. The left hand room has rounded corner to the front left and the ground and first floor window are within this bowed corner. 2 storeys. Regular but asymmetrical 3 window south-south-west front. Doorway towards the right with window over. The ground floor left hand window opening has at some time been converted to a doorway; now with circa early C19 12-pane hornless sash; 6 pane horned sash over. Circa early C19 12-pane hornless sashes to ground floor right and over the doorway. Older 12-pane horizontal sliding sash to first floor right. Interior : not inspected.
