Details
ST KEVERNE SW 72 SW 2/101 Rosuick Farmhouse GV II Possibly 3 cottages converted into farmhouse. Circa late C17 with later remodelling, circa mid-C19. Stone rubble with some cob in upper walls. Brick segmental arches to first floor. Creeper clad. Cement washed scantle slate roof with brick chimneys at gable ends and to left of centre on ridge. Plan altered to form 1-room deep and 3-cell with wide hallway. Extending converted wing to rear. 2 storeys. Regular 4-window front with tall 2-light casement and 2-light horizontal sliding sash to left of C20 timber door with flat porch on 2 posts. 2- light horizontal sliding sash to right. On first floor 4 horizontal sliding sashes. All windows with glazing bars. Rounded corner on left-hand end. Two 3- light and one 4-light timber mullioned window with ovolo mouldings to rear on groundfloor. Early timber door to rear on ground floor, possibly brought from an earlier building. Two 3-panelled C17 doors with HL hinges. 1, on first floor to root on left, with ovolo moulded doorcase with pyramid stops.
