Small farmhouse. Early C19. Roughly coursed granite rubble with dressed granite
quoins, jambstones, sills and lintels. Grouted scantle slate double span roof with
brick chimneys over gable ends of front part and tall axial stack with 3 flues over
middle of narrower rear roof.
Plan of 2 unequal front rooms with left-hand (west) room slightly larger, passage
between and 2 narrower service rooms to rear in parallel range.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2-window south front with openings grouped slightly to
right. Doorway, midway between window openings, within shallow open porch with stone
side walls and slate roof with boarded gable, 4-pane horned sashes to ground floor
and original 18-pane hornless sashes to first floor.
Interior not inspected.
A simple house surviving little altered since the C19.
