House. Circa early C18. Stone rubble, rendered and painted with slate roof with gable ends. Large stone rubble chimney stack on right-hand gable end. Probably originally a 2-room plan with entrance near centre, the right-hand room heated by gable end stack. The internal partitions have been removed to form 1 large room. Alternatively it could have been originally (or converted later to) a pair of 1-room plan cottages. 2 storeys, asymmetrical 2-window front. Ground floor with C20 window in blocked entrance on left. C20 partly glazed stable type of door beneath slate lean-to hood and C20 window to right with glazing bars. Two 4-pane sashes on first floor. Interior altered with fireplace renewed and circa C19 widely spaced ceiling beams. C20 stair. Suggested by owners to have been a fish cellar. Included for group value.
