GV II
Pair of attached houses, possibly originally one house. Late C17/early C18 origin
with C19 and C20 alterations. Painted rubble with hipped slate roof with brick
stack to right side.
Rose Cottage to front and Stow Cottage to rear, Rose Cottage has entrance to front
right with single room to left.
2 storeys and 2 windows to Rose Cottage, all 12-pane sashes with horns, C20 glazed
door to right. Right side has C20 6-pane light at ground floor of Rose Cottage.
Stow Cottage to right has C20 door, single light to left, C20 PVC sash to right and
at first floor.
Interior of Rose Cottage Much altered in C20, retains straight stair to rear right
with stick balusters and square newels.
