House, circa early to mid C17. Rubble stone and cob, rendered. Slate roof
with brick stacks in gabled ends. Single depth plan, 2 rooms with cross passage
and dairy to rear (altered).
2-storeys, asymmetrical 3-window front. 2-light casement with glazing bars to
left in partly blocked larger opening visible inside and 3-light casement with
glazing bars to right. Partly glazed panelled door placed to right of centre.
First floor, three 2-light timber casements with glazing bars and crown glass.
Left hand room with chamfered ceiling beams at close centres with plain stops
on south. First floor, in left-hand west gable end a partly blocked 3-light ovolo-
moulded timber mullioned window. Holes for stanchion bars visible. Unmoulded
frame on interior, ovolo-moulded towards exterior. Above window in first floor
east room a reused moulded timber beam, possibly a reduced fireplace lintel; the
other part inserted above internal door to dairy.
A roof of 7 bays with trenched purlins and chamfered cambered collars to 8
principles. The collars halved, notched and pegged. Carpenters marks throughout.
