6/72 Cross lying to side of drive 5m to west of Hendra Farmhouse
II
Cross. Medieval. Granite, rectangular in section. Tall shaft, now in 2 pieces (total length including head just under 2 metres). Rounded head. Incised lines of latin cross continuing down shaft on both sides. Previously used as gate pier and then buried in garden to south of Hendra farmhouse. Recently uncovered and found to be in remarkably good condition.
