Pair of houses. Late C18. Yellow stock brick, No.2 reddened,
No.3 with evidence of tuck pointing. Plain stucco 1st floor
sill band. 4 storeys and basements; No.3 with C20 attic
dormers. 3 windows each. Round-arched doorways with stucco
block dressings and keystones, patterned cornice-heads and
radial fanlights; good fielded panel doors with egg-and-dart
decoration. Gauged brick (some reddened) flat arches to
recessed sashes; No.3 with C30 ground floor window with stone
architrave and elongated 1st floor windows with cast-iron
balconies. Parapets, Nos 2 & 3 rebuilt.
INTERIORS: not inspected but noted to retain original
fireplaces, staircases and plaster cornices. Nos 2 & 3 with
lead rainwater heads.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached early C20 wrought-iron railings
to areas.
