Details
HONILEY Honiley
4/185 North Lodge and South Lodge -
GV II
Late C17 coach house, and one of two service wings to the old Honiley Hall, no longer extact, but which stood to the north east. The other wing, the stables (now known as The Malthouse qv) is situated opposite. Both have been converted to houses. Red brick with flared headers. Plain tile roof with heavy brick dentilled eaves cornice and stringcourses. Two storeys. 2:5:2 bays, gabled end bays project slightly. Central segmental arched carriageway. Cross mullion/transom windows with leaded panes and flat rubbed brick arches with keystones. Small elliptical windows in gables. Two large brick chimney stacks at the right.
