The item and first sentence of the description shall be amended to read:

KETTLESHULME C.P. FLATTS LANE (East side) Nos. 1, 2 and 3 Ely Fold Cottages Three cottages. Late C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.

KETTLESHULME C.P. FLATTS LANE (East side) SJ 97 NE 3/74 Stocksfield II Three cottages. Late C18 with C19 and C20 alterations: Coursed, squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge. Original house to left is of 2 storeys and 3 bays. Left end bay has 2 light square-sectioned mullioned windows with 4 pane sashes in each light. Right end bay has similar surrounds containing 6-pane sashes. Central board door under rough stone lintel. To right and stepping forward is 2-unit house with Welsh slate roof with 3-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and a half-glazed door under a rough stone lintel. Further right is a house at right angles, the gable having openings under rock-dressed lintels and the south front having 4 enlarged C20 windows.

To the left of the house complex is attached a corn barn altered to a garage which is not included in the item.
