OFF FARRAR IIILL LANE SE 02 SE (east side) 7/141A Aqueduct over the Halifax Branch Canal II Aqueduct, now disused. Built 1828, by the engineer Thomas Bradley as part of the Halifax Branch Canal for the Calder and Hebble Navigation Company. Ashlar. 2 arched bridge built skew across the river. The arches have segmental rusticated voussoirs, with a plain band above, then a central blank plaque and above another plain band and partly collapsed parapet. Eitherside, single ashlar piers, then curved rock-faced abutments, finished with outer ashlar piers.
