5/13 The Woodlands
II
Farmhouse late C18 with later alterations. Red brick in Flemish Bond with slate roof. 3 storeys, 5 bays, "F" shaped plan. 6-panel door, with upper panels raised and fielded and the lower two panels bead and flush, in doorcase with panelled external lining, radial bar fanlight and open pediment. Altered 3-light mullion and transome casements with metal opening lights and leaded glazing. Saw tooth treatment to projecting eaves. Gable barge boards. Interior: Six-panel doors hung on H.L.hinges also wide boarded doors at second floor level. Pitch pine bevelled beams. Staircase with square balusters and newel posts and cut string.
