II
Farmhouse, circa 1860, built as part of the Tollemache Estate. Brown brick in Flemish Bond with tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. Stone plinth. Half glazed door with single muntin and lower section flush boarded and rectangular transome light above. The entrance is fronted by a brick porch with side lights, arched braced head and apex of gable with the Tollemache St Andrew's-Cross-on-diamond motif in timber. The porch roof is a gable laid on a lean-to in dormer style. Windows are mainly 3-light with hexagonal lozenge cast iron glazing, those in the upper storey in gabled dormers with finials. The building has two close linked rear wings which are of varying height. The chimneys have square divided flues which rise from stacks with stone weathered bands.
