Farmhouse, early C17. Whitened brick walls and timber framing with roof of old tiles. Gabled, almost cross roof plan. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bay entrance front (east) 3-bay highway front (north) and single bay garden front (west) with blank wings north and south. West gable has timber replaced in softwood. East gable timbered with built-up mullion window and 3-light leaded lattice window to first floor. North gable, jettied but plastered, has original 3-light leaded casement. South gable is also jettied and plastered with small casement and flush casements in each wing. Replaced oak door formed into three vertical panels by beads, this has a shallow pitched hood. The side door (south) is of softwood boards with false strap hinges. Gables have barge boards. Large square central stack. Interior: Ovolo moulded and bevelled beams, exposed joists, inglenook. Wide boarded oak doors on strap hinges. Large areas of timbers in internal walls.
