Cottage. Early to mid C17 with late C17 and C19 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble with freestone dressings. Thatched roof; red brick ridge
stack and gable end stack to right hand. One storey and attic with modified
three unit lobby entry plan and single storey range to north-east. Parapet
gables with chamfered copings, chamfer to south-east quoin; wall of internal
stack projects in south-west elevation. Three ground floor casement windows
of two and three lights with wooden lintels, and two gabled dormer windows
with casements. Wide entrance to rear with stop-chamfered wooden lintel and
boarded door. Interior: Stop-chamfered axial and cross beams; sealed hearth
to north-west room with C19 cupboards and late C17 or early C18 splat-baluster
staircase.
