Detached house. Early C19. Stucco with rusticated quoins; steep dry slate roof with modillion eaves cornice; tall stuccoed end stacks built forward of ridge. Double-depth or double-pile plan with entrance hall behind right-hand room. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window garden front with no front doorway. Moulded architraves with sill brackets, those to ground floor with stepped keyblocks and the central 1st-floor window with a festooned apron; later C19 8-pane horned sashes. Right-hand return has similar window openings at extreme left and right and another central to main gable above a gabled porch with a pilastered doorway rising into a gable parapet. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
