Former hop warehouse. Probably circa 1840-50 and shown on 1872 Ordnance Survey Map. Built of stock brick with slate roof concealed behind parapet. Four storeys; two windows and two openings to front, two windows to side elevation. Front has splay. Windows are fixed metal casements with round-headed openings to top floor and cambered openings to lower floors. Front has two loading bays with gantry. Round-headed arch to ground floor with modified entrance. Side elevation has cross-shaped iron ties. Interior has roof structure with metal king posts but otherwise pine roof with angled braces, purlins, ridge piece and dragon ties at the corners. Metal columns to each floor and concertina braces to floors. Steep wooden staircase in corner. A little altered survivor of hop warehouses near the Anchor Brewery and the Hop Exchange.
