Altered late C18 or early C19 front to earlier, probably timber framed, house. Steeply pitched old tiled roof with two gabled dormers. Colour washed brick first floor has three flush sash windows with glazing bars.Two segmentally arched sash windows to red brick ground floor with carriageway on left. Two storeys and attics. Gabled back wing at right angles to front block has four gabled dormers. (RCHM 27).
