GV II*
House formerly the rectory, by Thomas Windsor c.1828 with later C19 service wing and porch. Timber-framed and plastered with imitation masonry joints. Hipped slate roofs. Two gault brick stacks. Gault brick plinth. Main range, two storeys with symmetrical three 'bay' facade, three storey service range recessed to north-east. Deep panelled eaves. Closed porch, semi elliptical plan, with glazed door and fanlight, reeded pilasters and moulded cornice. Two ground floor and three similar first floor segmental bay windows with reeded architraves and with pointed glazing bars to the upper lights. Windows to service wing with pointed arches and with glazing bars in fixed light above casement windows. Panelled side door with pointed arched side lights. Interior: Reed moulded doorcases with corner bosses and moulded panelled doors. Fluted pilastered archways to passage and blind arches to passage doorways. Open string staircase. Original chimney pieces. Tuscan columns to side passage in drawing room with large double doors to dining room. Garden casements in rear elevation.
