Crosshall (Formerly listed as Crosshall Farmhouse in the Rural District of Bedford) TL 16 SE 6/6

II* 7.5.52.

2. C17 timber framed house refronted earlier C18 with later alterations. Original basic plan of 2 ground floor rooms with internal chimney and additional rear room, (RCHM type L). 2 storeys and attics. 3 windows with 1 window later C19 extension in similar style at east end. Tiled roof with gable coping and stacks. Red brick with plain brick eaves and 1st floor bands. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars and blind hoods. Architraved doorway with bracketted hood and fielded and panelled door. Internal ceiling beams with scroll stops.
