House, C17 or earlier. Timber framed, roughcast rendered on brick plinth with tiled roofs and late C17 original, gault brick ridge stack of two rectangular shafts on square base with string-course to hall range. Plan of hall and crosswings. Two storey hall with one horizontal sliding sash with small panes, C19, to each storey. The right hand crosswing has C18 three light casement with leaded light above a similar horizontal sliding sash. The left hand crosswing is of two storeys and attic with a casement to the attic storey and two three-light windows to first and ground storeys. The main doorway is to this crosswing possibly leading to the original cross-passage. Interior: Large inglenook hearth to centre room. Downward bracing to wall frame. Original roof to left hand crosswing, but new rafters over centre range, except for a pair of rafters and collar for clasped purlin roof remaining from original.
