House, late C16. Timber framed, roughcast rendered, with later weatherboarding to rear and one gable end wall and gault brick casing to ground floor of crosswing. Steeply pitched roofs now of corrugated iron, originally thatched. Gault brick axial, ridge stack and side stack to crosswing with early C18 brickwork to lower courses, and rebuilt upper courses. Hall and crosswing plan with main doorway to lobby entry to hall range. Two storeys. Two horizontal sliding sashes to first floor and two hung sashes on either side of doorway. Some of the framing is exposed and painted white. The crosswing is also two storeys, originally jettied at first floor, now underbuilt. One horizontal sliding sash with glazing bars. Interior: The crosswing is in three bays and has arch bracing to the tie beams. One upper room remains open to the roof and was used as a cheese room. The framing is of substantial scantling, close set. The centre room of the hall range has moulded main beam with leaf stops to the chamfer. Similar moulding to the middle rail above the hearth.
