House, early C20, with original C16 timber-framed cottage as
rear wing. The fine C15 carved mantel beam possibly re-sited in
inglenook of rear wing is of note and similar to others found in
buildings on Suffolk border. Rear wing timber-framed and
plastered with red pantile roof. House, white gault brick,
hipped slate roof with central ridge stack. Two storeys. Two
recessed four-paned hung sash windows at each floor, those of
ground floor and half glazed door with cambered brick arches.
