Details
MEDMENHAM HENLEY ROAD SU 88 SW (DANESFIELD) 8/141 Walls and gate piers to W. of West Lodge - GV II Pair of walls with terminal piers and gate piers flanking gates to Danesfield grounds. Circa 1874. Knapped flint with brick dressings and off-set pitched stone coping. Low walls, stepped down to right. Square piers with chamfered angles. Larger gate piers have stone bands and caps; smaller terminal piers have octagonal pyramid stone caps. Included for group value. Wrought iron gates inserted 1984 are not included.
