CLARE COLLEGE 1. 942 Gateway to Clare Hall Piece TL 4458 16/255 26.4.50. II* 2. 1691. Ashlar piers with ball finials. Early C18, probably 1714, wrought-iron gate with overthrow. Railings between the flanking piers. (RCHM).
