AYLESBURY STREET 1. 5135 (East Side) FENNY STRATFORD No 30. The Bull Public House. Outhouse to rear of No 30 SP 8833 5/2 II 2. Circa 1840-50 small red brick house and shop of 2 storeys. Low gable end slate roof. Carriageway and small canted pilastered shop window with entablature continued over the door. 2 flush framed sash windows on 1st floor. To rear is a C17/C18 stables or outhouse, timber framed with brick between wall posts which are exposed to south. 3 bay crown post roof with rough purlins. Formerly used as stables for the adjoining inn. Slate roof. "The Bull" adjoins and appears to be late C18 in date, possibly a recasing of an earlier building. 2 storeys and attic stucco faced brick. Steep gable end tiled roof with end stacks. 2 gabled dormers. Eaves band. 3 window symmetrical front, recessed glazing bar sashes lst floor. 2 small canted bay windows with casements on ground floor.
