II 2. Late C16 and early C17 two storey timber-framed house, consisting of 2 ranges forming a letter L-plan with C18 lean to additions, dating from its subdivision into tenements. Earlier north range of 2 bays with entry in front of large C17 stack. South range early C17 of one and a half storeys and having prominent stack at west end. Some exposed framing with brick infill, Casement windows, mostly modern. Brick outshots. Old brick stacks and all brickwork colourwashed. Old tile roofs, south range with west gabled upper window and dormer to east. Cottage fronting road. C18 colourwashed brick one bay, 2 storey cottage with old tile roof, dentil eaves and rear outshot fronts road. RCHM I, 84, Monument 15.
