House. C16-17 with later alterations and additions. Timber frame, partly rendered, partly infilled with brick and refaced in chequer brick, S. bay rubble stone, N. bay C19 brick. Tiled roof, central brick chimney, 3 gabled eaves dormers. 1 storey and attic, N. bay 2-storey and attic. 6-bay front, N. bay on LH has a 3-light casement and door, then two timber frame and brick bays with two 3-light leaded casements;6 flush panel door to RH; 2 recessed bays with jettied timber framing and rendering, one 1-light, one 3-light casements, small cellar window to RH., S. bay to RH. stone with a 3-light casement to each floor door to RH, all with segmental red and blue brick arches and brick jambs. S. gable stone with brick gable. One 3-light attic casement. 2 rear outshots with catslide roofs. Interior: exposed timber framing to 1st floor, inglenook fireplace in centre. RCHM I p.293. MON.14.
