Hotel, formed from two houses. C18, incorporating earlier timber
framed fabric. Red brick, tiled roof, LH house higher with flanking
chimneys with panels, front parapet and 2 flat roofed dormers. RH house
has lower roof with moulded wood eaves cornice. 2 storeys, LH house has
1st floor band and 5 bays of sash windows with flat gauged brick
arches, central door in C20 glazed porch. 2 sashes to RH 3-light
window and narrow sash to LH. RH house has 3 bays, 4 pane upper
sashes flanking 3-pane central sash, central early C20 door in older
wood doorcase having pilasters and flat hood, flanked by tripartite
sashes with gauged flat arches. RH gable has exposed timber framing.
