Public house. c1840-50. Stuccoed. Low pitch Welsh slate roof, hipped on left, rendered stack to left and right and at right of centre. 3 storeys, 3 bays. Rusticated quoin on left, vermiculated to ground floor, horizontal rusticated ground floor. To left of centre is a recessed 6-panelled door, upper 4 panels glazed, blinded overlight set under cambered arch, plain architrave. To left is 1 and on right two 3-light bar windows each with frosted and engraved glass set under flat rendered arch. On far right is a 6-panelled door with blinded overlight set under cambered arch, plain architrave. On left over first 2 bays is a glazed canopy supported by 4 ornate cast-iron brackets. First floor has band course, 2 tripartite sashes, each with 12-pane centre sash and flanking 4-pane sashes with 16-pane sash to right, each set within moulded architrave. Second floor has three 16-pane sashes each with moulded architrave and bracketed sill, flat projecting eaves. Left return to Drayton Lane is painted brick with tripartite sash to right and 6-panelled door on left, 16-pane sash to first and second floors. Further left red brick in Flemish bond with tripartite sash and 16-pane sash on first and second floors.
