Terrace of 4 houses occupying a corner site. c1806-33. Brick with stucco facades and slate roofs, brick party-wall stack with cornice between Nos 129 and 131. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 8 first-floor windows (of which the first is to left return and the second is to rounded corner). Stucco detailing includes rusticated ground floor except to left return, drawn into voussoirs over openings; first-floor band; tooled architraves to first-floor windows (except to left return); sills throughout; frieze, cornice and blocking course. Windows: blind opening to first floor at left, then 8/8 sash to corner, curved on section, otherwise 6/6 sashes where original; C19 wide shop front to ground-floor on corner with tooled architrave with incised Greek key motif and C20 multi-pane glazing. Entrances to left, right, right and left: 4-panel doors (No.129 part-glazed) with fanlights with radial glazing bars except to No.133 (left return) a part-glazed door with overlight. INTERIOR: not inspected. HISTORICAL NOTE: Fairview Road was developed from c1806; it occupies part of the open fields 'inclosed' by Act of Parliament in 1806 to enable their development as building land.
