Details
FORE STREET, SIDBURY 1. 1633 (East Side) Rivulet Bakery (Old Bakery) SY 1391 2/210 II GV 2. Corner site with Bridge Street. Early C19 two storeys stucco faced. Steep pitch hipped slate roof, probably originally thatched. Front facing Fore Street is slightly below road level. 2-light casements with shutters. Trellis columned tent roof porch. Front on corner with Bridge Street has a good early C19 double shop front covered by tent roof on wood trellis supports replacing original iron ones. Shop windows 4 panes wide. Door of 4 reeded panels flanked by thin reeded pilasters, rectangular fanlight. 1st floor has centred 2-light casement with shutters. Formerly there was mid C19 painted lettering on scrolls at 1st floor level.
Rivulet bakery forms a group with Rivulet Cottage, Bridge Street.
