House. C18. Whitewashed rendered stone rubble; thatched roof, gabled at right end, hipped at left end; right end stack, axial stack at left end. Single depth plan with 2 principal rooms, one on each side of a lobby entrance with the rear of the stairs facing the front door; small service room at left end. The house accommodation has been extended into a former shippon at right angles to the main range and linked to it by a C20 flat-roofed single-storey block. The rear elevation of the main range has a shallow outshut and a small C20 projection. 2-storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front with the eaves thatch eyebrowed over 3 first floor windows and an approximately central plank and cover strip front door with a thatched porch carried on posts. 3 first floor small 2-light casements with glazing bars; ground floor window left 1-light C20, the others 2-light casements, 2 panes per light. The front elevation curves forward slightly at the right end. Interior - Both the principal rooms have chamfered cross beams, exposed joists and fireplaces with stone jambs and timber lintels, the left hand fireplace lintel chamfered and stopped. An attractive vernacular house of the region.
