House and shop. Early C19. White brick, with a parapet and stone cornice; slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 2 window range to Whiting Street and 1 window to Churchgate Street: 12-pane sashes to the 1st and 6-pane to the 2nd storey, all in plain reveals with flat gauged arches. A raised stucco band below the 1st storey windows. The quadrant corner is slightly recessed with blank windows to both upper storeys.The original entrance door on Whiting Street, with a semicircular brick arch and a fanlight with fan glazing, has been made into a window. C20 shop entrance on corner in traditional style has a small-paned shop window to each frontage and a heavy fascia. INTERIOR: cellar with walling of flint, brick, re-used stone and old render is older than the building above, which has no visible features prior to the early C19.
