Pair of cottages, now house. C15, C16 and C18 with early C19 addition and early C20 alterations. Cruck frame and square panel timber frame on stone plinth with brick nogging, also painted brick. Early C20 red clay tile roof with brick side wall stack to west and a large brick ridge stack, also a brick side wall stack to centre of street elevation.
Single storey plus attics and four bays, that to west early C19. South elevation has a long range at right angles to east with one bay of square panel timber framing to north end. Adjacent to west there is a plank door with small pane overlight in a single bay of timber framing. Bays to west are constructed in red brick and have a C20 door flanked to west by a two-light casement and to east by a similar three-light window. Above there are two gabled dormers with two-light casement windows. Street elevation has a brick bay to west with a segment headed glazing bar sash and timber framed bays to east, that to far east lower and with smaller panels than the other bays. There is a central brick lean-to with a two-light small pane casement window to west face and a C20 inserted window and panelled door to west. To east side of lean-to there is a plank door with a two-light small pane casement above in a gabled half dormer. Beyond to east there is a two-light horizontal sliding glazing bar sash. East gable wall has exposed cruck truss with a yoked ridge, the remains of two collars and the eaves sprockets to either side. This is the only surviving cruck truss.
