Details
PARISH OF EDENSOR OFF MAIN ROAD SK 24/2569-24/2570 7/130 (North Side) Park Rangers House II House, possibly built as pair of lodges either side of a driveway, later linked as one building. Late C18. Sandstone ashlar. Hipped Welsh slate roof. Ashlar lateral stacks. Two storeys. East elevation of five bays, the centre three pedimented, the outer ones with blind round-arched panels with continuous impost band, and balustraded parapet. Centre bay advanced, with a glazing bar sash and a doorway with wooden doorcase, panelled door and overlight. Flanked by round-arched glazing bar sashes. The first floor has a glazing bar sash and small casement, flanked by oculi. Smaller oculus in the pediment. Outer bays have round-arched glazing bar sashes and segmental arched sashes above. West elevation has advanced centre bay with moulded cornice and blocking course. C20 tripartite bay window with glazing bar sash above. Flanked by round-arched glazing bar sashes. Outer bays as to east.
