Eastern Gates, steps and
walls to All Saints
Churchyard
GV II
Gatepiers, steps and attached walls. Mid C18 and later. Coursed squared and
ashlar gritstone. Two square gatepiers, approximately 8ft tall with moulded bases
and cornices, both topped with large acorn shaped finials on moulded bases.
Attached to top, ironwork lantern arch. Ironwork gates below, probably late C19.
Low stone wall with chamfered copings attached either side and continuing down to
east following flight of five steps down to street level.
