The Old Brewhouse
(Formerly listed as V G Foodstore)
(Formerly listed as Premises occupied by J Burton)
GV II
House. Late C18, with C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone
rubble, projecting quoins, coved eaves above plain band, coped gables,
rendered end ridge stacks, and Welsh slate roof. Three storeys, two bays,
with single glazing bar sashes set in projecting stone frames. C20 shop
windows with top hung lights to ground floor openings. Heavy quoins and
lintel to central doorway. Listed for group value only.
