Farmhouse. Spice cupboard dated 1727, later addition. Narrow coursed rubble
with slobbered mortar and slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the 2nd bay projects
as 2-storey porch under gable, the 4th bay is recessed and lower. Narrow
windows have plastered lintels, that to 1st bay of ground floor has plastered
mullion, and casements, but that to 2nd bay of 1st floor has small-paned fixed
glazing with opening light; 3rd bay has fire window; 4th bay has C20 windows
with casements. Entrance has segmental arch; inner entrance has wide-boarded
studded door with strap hinges. Large projecting gable-end stack and stack to
former gable end. Rear has large and small lean-to outshuts; blocked light with
label mould to 1st floor. Interior has chamfered beams and heck partition.
Spice cupboard has fielded-panelled door inscribed: "RWM" and drawer below
inscribed: "1707".
