II
Previously known as Low Plumgarths. House, now divided into 2. Dated 1611 over right hand door. Roughcast render, graduated slate roof, 2 massive chimneys with circular shafts. 2 storeys. No 1 has C20 porch with C19 door. C20 casement to left, C19 to right. 3 sashes above. No 2 (probably originally the service wing) has C20 porch and C20 door, 2 C20 casements. Interior of No 1 has chamfered beams with tongued chamfer-stop. 3-light timber mullioned window in kitchen and similar 2-light window in bedroom (both blocked); doorhead with flattened Tudor arch in living room; decorated plaster frieze and beam with trailing vines in bedroom; Queen strut trusses in roof; remains of plank and muntin partition.
