Details

RAMSGATE WEST CLIFF ROAD TR 3764 NE (north side) 12/438 Nos. 17,19, 21 and 23 (Vale Place) and 13.9.74 railed Areas GV II Terrace row. Circa 1830. White stock brick with slate roof. Two storeys and basement with parapet to roof with 4 separate hips and stacks ranged left to right. Sash to left and 3 glazing bar sashes on first floor, all with cambered heads. Canted, elliptical 3 light bows on ground floor with entablature on pilasters, and glazing bar sashes to basement. Numbers 17 and 23 with gauged round headed doorways with half-glazed doors. Numbers 19 and 21 have half-glazed and panelled doors with rectangular fanlights in central recessed elliptically headed porch. Panel central to first floor inscribed Vale Place. Numbers 17 and 19 have simple rails to basement areas.
