Details

RAMSGATE GRANGE ROAD TR 3765 SW (west side) 7/121 The Admiral Fox GV II Public House. Early C19, altered late C19. Stock brick, part rendered, with slate. Two storeys and basement with boxed eaves to hipped roof with stacks to left, to end right and to rear. Three glazing bar sashes with segmental heads on first floor. Projecting single storey extension to ground floor to left, with central 4 light mullioned and transomed window and half-glazed doors to left and (with railed steps) to right, with sidelight at end right. Half-glazed door with rails and 3 light mullioned and transomed window to right with basement opening below. Admiral Fox died 1811 and is buried in nearby St. Laurence Church.
